EMERGENCY services have rushed to the Ormeau Woods High School on the Gold Coast, where a 14-year-old girl has reportedly been assaulted.

The teen was initially unconscious and bleeding after being punched outside the school grounds on Goldmine Road.

Ambulance officers are tending to the girl, who is now lapsing in and out of consciousness and has serious face and head injuries.

Police have been called to the school.
