| I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury from a motor accident in late 2004 to such an extent that my wife and family were told that I had less than 1% of surviving. After spending 4 months in hospital I have recovered physically to such an extent that my resultant mental handicap does not show. When I was discharged from hospital I had some counseling and as part of that counseling, when I reached the realization and admitted to myself that I would never work again and would probably never get better than I was, I was then left to my own devices. After spending some time searching TBI and Brain Injuries on the web I discovered Christian King. To say that Christian has been helpful to me and my wife from resultant phone calls and emails in my understanding of my acceptance, would be an understatement. I have never been happier and content to such an extent that my family and friends note the improvement. The biggest regret I have is that it took me over 3 years to find Christian. It is a blessing to communicate with somebody who empathizes, understands and knows what those who suffer from TBI and their loved ones go through. | Christian King entered our lives as a result of my son suffering Traumatic Brain Injury in 2005. After many website searches looking for any information that may give us some understanding on what my son had suffered. My answers were never fully explained when I received emails and/or phone calls from different sources, I still today search for answers. My youngest daughter was having much difficulty in dealing with her brother’s accident and his brain injury. She had many issues that she was unable to handle and one day asked me to help her find someone who she could confide. I contacted Christian and asked if he could help my daughter. As we live in different states, I did not anticipate an outcome. Christian has not only exceeded my daughter’s expectations but I have also been given his unlimited support in guiding me in dealing with my son’s issues. Christian has made himself available to my family, all 6 children and their partners, at any given time, day or night. His empathy and driven endeavors to achieve positive outcomes is a humble achievement. | Christian, Wow, how enlightening it was for to speak with You today. It must have been an hour. So encouraging. It's hard to put words to how i feel as result of your approach. It's practical! Which may not always mean the news is easy to swallow. But if one has suffered a head injury for 30 years, they will realise there's a lot of stuff that's not easy to swallow!
